Etain Tannam gives a talk in Denver

Dr Etain Tannam came to Denver on 13 September to present her research on Brexit and British-Irish relations. Dr Tannam also met with Prof Sisk (a mentor of GATED project on US side) and Dr Halilovic-Pastuovic to discuss GATED project. Dr Tannam’s paper assessed  the impact of the Good Friday Agreement on British-Irish  intergovernmental cooperation  in the light of Brexit. In the first section, the significance of the EU and of intergovernmental cooperation for the peace process and the Good Friday Agreement were outlined. In section two, the effect of the Agreement on British-Irish intergovernmental cooperation was assessed. In section three, the impact of Brexit to date was examined.
